Questions, answered.
How long does the starter last?
A well-fed starter can last indefinitely — some bakers have kept theirs going for decades. Feed yours every 7 days if kept in the fridge, or daily at room temperature. Your kit includes a care card with full feeding instructions.
Do I need any baking experience?
None at all. The illustrated recipe card walks you through every stage — from first feed to first scored loaf — with timings, temperatures and what to look for at each step. If you can follow a recipe, you can bake with this kit.
How should I care for the banneton?
After each use, turn it out and tap away any loose flour. Leave it to air dry completely before storing — never submerge in water. Over time the flour builds up a natural non-stick coating that improves with every loaf.
When will I receive it, and is it gift-ready?
Orders ship in 2-3 business days. Everything arrives in a gift box — no additional wrapping needed. If you'd like to add a handwritten message, select the gift option at checkout.
What's your returns policy?
We offer a 30-day return policy on all unused items in their original packaging. If anything arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours and we'll make it right.
