Why Choose Wooden
The Natural Choice for Healthier Cooking
No Microplastics
Unlike plastic utensils that shed microplastics into your food, wooden utensils remain intact and pure. Keep your meals free from harmful plastic particles and enjoy truly clean cooking.
Won't Scratch Cookware
Wooden utensils are gentle on all cookware surfaces. Unlike metal utensils that damage non-stick coatings and scratch pans, wood preserves your cookware's integrity and extends its lifespan.
Plastic-Free Cooking
Say goodbye to plastic leaching into your food. Wooden utensils provide a natural, non-toxic alternative that keeps your meals pure and your family safe from chemical exposure.
Naturally Antimicrobial
Wood has natural antimicrobial properties that help prevent bacterial growth. This makes wooden utensils a hygienic choice for everyday cooking and food preparation.
Eco-Friendly & Sustainable
Wooden utensils are biodegradable and sourced from renewable resources. Choose a sustainable option that's better for your kitchen and better for the planet.
Heat Resistant & Safe
Wood naturally resists heat without melting or releasing toxins. Cook with confidence knowing your utensils won't degrade or contaminate your food at high temperatures.

Questions, answered.
How long does the starter last?
A well-fed starter can last indefinitely — some bakers have kept theirs going for decades. Feed yours every 7 days if kept in the fridge, or daily at room temperature. Your kit includes a care card with full feeding instructions.
Do I need any baking experience?
None at all. The illustrated recipe card walks you through every stage — from first feed to first scored loaf — with timings, temperatures and what to look for at each step. If you can follow a recipe, you can bake with this kit.
How should I care for the banneton?
After each use, turn it out and tap away any loose flour. Leave it to air dry completely before storing — never submerge in water. Over time the flour builds up a natural non-stick coating that improves with every loaf.
When will I receive it, and is it gift-ready?
Orders ship in 2-3 business days. Everything arrives in a gift box — no additional wrapping needed. If you'd like to add a handwritten message, select the gift option at checkout.
What's your returns policy?
We offer a 30-day return policy on all unused items in their original packaging. If anything arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours and we'll make it right.
